About Health Literate Leadership- Manager Training
At Health Literate Leadership, our senior management team brings together over 20 years of experience across NHS, public sector, and private sector leadership roles. Our backgrounds span clinical practice, operational management, workforce development, employee wellbeing, and organisational leadership, giving us first-hand insight into the realities, pressures, and challenges managers face every day.
We understand that today's managers are expected to navigate increasingly complex workplace health issues while balancing operational demands, legal responsibilities, team performance, and employee wellbeing. Yet many have received little formal training to help them manage these situations confidently and consistently.
Our manager training equips you with the practical knowledge, skills, and confidence to understand employment law, recognise the impact of health conditions in the workplace, implement reasonable adjustments appropriately, and lead conversations that support both employee wellbeing and organisational success. We combine evidence-based learning with real-world scenarios, practical tools, and case studies drawn from years of management and clinical experience.
In addition to our training programmes, we offer one-to-one supervision and reflective practice sessions with experienced managers. These sessions provide a confidential space to discuss complex cases, reflect on decision-making, explore options, and build confidence when managing difficult workplace health situations. Whether navigating reasonable adjustments, managing capability concerns, supporting an employee through illness, or balancing operational and legal considerations, managers have access to expert support when they need it most.
Our mission is simple: to develop Health Literate Leaders who have the confidence and capability to support their people effectively, reduce organisational risk, and build healthier employment knowledge to deliver training that is relevant, realistic, and immediately applicable in the workplace.
